NBACD: New Big Ass Cab Day

So temptation being what it is got the best of me again. Butterslax 2x12/15 has landed. Don't let the published dimensions fool you, this thing could save your families lives in a flood. Not as heavy as I thought it might be though...

I didn't get a chance to crank it yet to get proper feel for it. I would say that at low volume, it sounded great, but it didn't blow me away relative to the bogner 4x12 or 2x12 I was using the head with. They all sounded great. The trick I found was positioning. If I stood off axis it was no better or worse than the bogners, if I stood in front there was a more pleasing bass response but it wasn't dramatic by any means. Once I get to crank it I'll have a better idea on true performance.

This cab is meant to be cranked. Loved it since day 1. It does need volume to sounds it’s best. But it is way louder than any 4x12 I’ve tried. Including big names like Bogner, Friedman, and Diezel.
Slax sounds awesome with the 412/15 and my Diezel FL v30 cab ran together.
So for fun, I suggest hooking up the slax cab and your Bogner 412 cab and have them both facing you at different angles. Get that volume up to 10-11 o’clock, and brace yourself
