So got a new bass today, have always been a big fan of Sadowsky basses, but were always just out of reach, they are not cheap, they released a new import model and I couldn't resist, the new RSD Metroexpress line, made in china at the Framus/Warwick factory. gotta say for the price, I'm VERY pleased. Just thought I'd share. ;)

nice and simple, i dig it. cool color too. 34" scale or 35"?
 
Fuck yeah!

I have one of the Chinese made Warwick Rockbass Corvette $$'s and it's super fucking nice....comes stock with the German Warwick hardware and MEC pickups, and has the tightest/most flawless bolt-on neck joint of any guitar I've ever seen (seriously)

I figured it would be great when I ordered it but when I received it it blew me away honestly.

I'm sure that Sadowsky is on that level too :love:
 
They had some QC issues that Roger had to address with the first couple runs, only real issue I found on mine was the string retainer is off. I ordered a hipshot retainer to replace it. other than that and some minor set-up, she's perfect. I'm really digging the whole thing, plays like butter, tone is badass. I'm extremely happy with it. Can't imagine how amazing the NYC models are.
 
Yay! A bass thread!

I haven't played one of those, but the color is tits. I've been surprised by some of the stuff China puts out at times. It all depends on quality control, I guess.
 
It really is pretty damned nice for the price, a lil set-up and it's pretty much ready to go... ;)
 
Rottingcorpses Darkglass Alpha/Omega, it's actually at another guys right now, so haven't got to try it through that, right now, I'm using it through the Kemper. ;)

Nice. I’ve got the Darkglass Microtubes V2. Killer amps
 
I'm using a simple lil Avatar 2x12, and LOVE IT. Got a soft spot for 12s with bass.
