I like this bass a lot. The B string is super tight and percussive rather than boomy. Not to say it doesn't have a lot of low end punch, it's just very focused, kind of like a baritone guitar with drop tuning vs a regular scale guitar in lower tunings.

I know the looks aren't everybody's cup of tea either, but screw that

Those things are so cool. Warwick makes really nice stuff.

Congrats! Pickup config looks neat. I assume that humbucker can split?

Thanks. I agree, I was amazed by the fretboard when I tried it out.

I don't think you can split the humbucker. The controls are volume, pickup blend, bass and treble. The volume also pops in or out to make the EQ active or passive.

The original owner replaced the MEC pickups it comes with with Delanos.

I did a short sound test the night after I got it. A lot of tones in there, this was with my bass amp settings unchanged.

Dig it! Cool looking bass for sure.

Thanks!

I got really lucky on this deal, I think. I sat down to clean it the other day and voila! All the gunk came off! This is what it looks like now.

Super shiny, and just a few dinks... I really scored!
