Just picked this up for a good price. Seller said 2 were reconed prior to 2001 by previous owner. Top two visibly had large dustcaps and bottom 2 had small dustcaps. I had never heard of 98700 cones and so I thought the bottom 2 were also recones. He was open to offers when I told him I thought all 4 were recones but I wasn't comfortable lowballing so I passed. Then I phoned a RigTalk friend (TY!!! 
) and he told me about the 98700 cones. I called seller back and we met again. He even took $25 off due to burn mark on stereo/impedance switch (he wasn't aware until I pointed it out). The top two are 1777 cones with large dustcaps like G12-65. Just got home and haven't played it yet, I will swap out jacks before doing that. They all pass a tap test. All frames are from mid-74.
