NCD: Marshall Handwired series

The UPS just dropped off my new Marshall 1960AHW cab. It is really, really heavy and very well made. I´ve playing some CDs through it to break in the speakers, before I go to the rehearsals later in the evening. I can˙t wait to crank it!

Not sure, I´ll have to open the cab to check. But they do use birch ply for the back side, metal handles etc, (these probably have little effect to the sound, besides "psyhological" one).

Wow! I didn't know they did that anymore even for these cabs! That's great. I can hear the difference. More lively - articulate - clarity etc....

They're the matching cabs for the Handwired series of amps (1959HW, 2061x, 1974x)...it's just the name for the product line.

The new ones have the G12H Anniversary Reissues.............they don't put the Heritage in them anymore. Unless of course it is an older model. This is my understanding from a thread over on the Gear Page.
