Just picked this up. I didn’t have any B cabs and really wanted a late 70s checker to go with the ‘78 checker A cab I have. But I also have a 1960A Vintage loaded with early/mid 70s Creambacks so this works too.

Nice! Congrats!
Thanks man! I know they’re not your favorites but I like the M-75s quite a lot. I haven’t put the H-55s thru their paces yet.

I do have an extra/odd-man-out M-75 BB in a Brown Deluxe homebrew that I could swap out with the 3rd H-55 in the 4x12. That would make it 2 of each cone. And I think the middy Brown Deluxe might sound better with a H55.

That’s a great cab loaded with great speakers.

I too like the 75Hz over the 55Hz greenbacks. Not to say the 55 sound bad because they kick ass. I just like the bite and aggression they bring. Kinda like a 20% mix of G12T-75 on all the time

Yeah I played it for a bit and for clean tones they are incredible. For dirty tones they definitely have a more scooped/bassyntrebly tone. It sounds good with distortion too but I'm a 25M-75 guy. That's my home.

I decided to put all the M25-75 BBs in my '78 checker cab so it's as original/stock as I can make it. The Vintage A cab gets all 70's M25-75 Creambacks and the Vintage B cab gets all 70's M25-75 Greenbacks. I wanted the 'best' speakers (and one Greeny in particular) in the B cab since they tend to sound best when mid'd up. Then I'll have the H30-55Hz speakers for other cabs. I also wired the B cab for 4 ohms since the SS amps I use for reamping don't like 16 ohms.
