neck replacement charvel model 2?

so my charvel model 2 is needed for a new neck. the frets are worn my unlce the original owner scalloped the 12-22 fret pretty sloppy. well it needs a new neck. how do i know what neck to buy? and is there a certain way you have to take it off and take it off? much info would be great.

You need a 2 1/4" heel that's all. Musikraft can do it for you. So can Warmoth or USACG.

I don't think charvel sells replacement necks and if you buy a used one off ebay you may end up in the same boat. Warmoth, Musikraft etc. make fantastic necks that typically surpass charvel quality. I think Warmoth used to be Boogie Bodies which was good enough for evh back in the day

FWIW, I've had 3 warmoth necks over the years and they have all been good to go. That said, it's been a while since I bought one from them so maybe they have gone downhill??
