This is a great deal. I've had one for a few years now and it plays and sounds great plugged in or unplugged. It has the ES-T electronics which is a peizo. But, for a peizo, it sounds really good. I haven't played it much since I got my 414CE.
Thing is, you have to like the Taylor sound. You can't go into it thinking it's going to sound like a Martin or Gibson. It won't. They have their own sound.

Outplayed every Taylor at the shop I got it at, and I was only 20 miles from the Taylor factory! Well made, beautiful sounding instruments at a great price. The sub-$500 offerings are great.
Alvarez, Recording King, and Seagull are great too. I'd like to get a Recording King Resonator to mess around with.
