Got a chance to buy one at a good price. Its a 1992, I've never heard one seems like it would be a nice little 1 channel amp. Thoughts????

I've owned a couple in the past. They have the crunch channel very simular to a JCM800 but with more tone.
They do not have the singing lead gain like the HR100+ or SLO though.
For what there going for used you can pick up a JCA100H from Jet City Amplification and it is a HR100+ designed from Mike Soldano for $800.00 New with a 45 day return policy from GC,AMS,etc.
Once you have one you will quickly realize the HR100+ with two channels is much better.
Just my .02 worth.

Get it... They're a ballsy tone monster and you can crank 'em up too. The tone is rawer than a SLO, definitely like what JB said, an 800 with more upper mid snarl. I reckon they're ace.

I agree with this, I've had the single channel and dual channel (plus) versions and preferred the single (my favorite was a '94 HR50). '92 should be before they screwed them up with the XL mod (easily reversible either way). They're a fantastic amp for the money, I say go for it!

And If you don't want it, let me know where you found it!

:D
