Need assistance setting up Axe fx into poweramp and cab

I'm switching from FRFR and need to be reminded of how to make these connections. My buddy lent me his American Audio VLP300 while I look into buying a matrix.
My port city cab is wired at 8 ohms, and there's stereo/mono switch on the back. I don't wanna fry anything, so how should I run the amp into the cab? thanks
 
The switch on the back shows that I can only run mono at 4 or 16, unless I'm not understanding the back plate properly. I have it plugged into 4 from channel A, bridged Mono mode, but I'm not getting any sound? there's input sensitivity switches, could those be the case?

Oh ok, didnt realize you didnt have the 8 ohm tap.
 
when in doubt always check the damn manual :doh:

What FRFR were you using? What made you want to try power and cabs?
