Guys, just to mention again: The 100B already has a dummy load. It can be switched in on the back. So you can use the dummy load and go through the line out or FX send into any speaker sim, no attenuator needed.

My drummer loves that and is a lead vocalist in his other band and they have no amps on stage and use in-ears,etc. He hates it , and I know him and he'll leave that band. .
If you absolutely HATE the lo-volume on stage thing ,it won't last. You have to 'want' to do that, or otherwise it's the wrong band for you .
Good luck

I TOTALLY understand and agree, Eric! It's an amphitheatre large church and the stage is silent. It would be a one year thing. Just trying to see if I can do it "enjoyably" ... Maybe I'll be ok with the earpiece??!! I dunno... Maybe I'll hear more clarity??
Thanx Eric,
Keith

See I thought the 03 did the same as the 04, at least that's how I remembered but looking around I couldn't find whether the 03 had the bulb or just a L-pad.duesentrieb":19xbmgkz said:It was GT vs. the Marshall SE-100.
Palmer uses a total different design, a mix of halo-lamps and resistors for the load while the Marshall and the GT have Rs and inductors.

Palmer PDI-03
Palmer PGA-04?
Palmer DPI-03/04?
I need to get a half decent tone outta my Bogner 100B head without making a noise on the stage. Ear pieces are used ... blah blah blah - Everything I hate, you know??!!
Anyone who can help me, please??
This is all new to me!

Yes. Make sure you A/B the sonic difference between the 09 run off the 100Bs line oout, the HPs Line-out and between the HP and head. I prefer the sound off the speaker tap...
