Alright I think I'm in need of some new cables.
Right now I have this cable. A Hosa cable that's 10ft.

and three Live wire, all of them are 5ft.

First cable goes into my TS-9 and ISP Decimator. Then the Livewire into the amp. The other two Livewire attach my G-Major 2 to my effects loop. (I forget what patch cable I used for the pedals)

Anyways. I don't think my cables are that great and may possibly be cause interference or even slight bad sound quality.

What are some good ones out there that I can rely on to have good quality?

I was even thinking of just getting like 30 feet of Mogami W2524 and attaching some jacks too it. Anyone have any ideas of good jacks?

If you have the money to spend there is no better than the Vandenhull. I run all Vandenhull from my guitar to the pedal board and through all my pedals to the head. Then I have my rack wired all with Evidence Audio Lyric HG. Major tone improvment. Just very costly.

Damn they all cost a lot!

Looks like I got some saving to do but I feel it could be well worth it!

As far as speaker cable its hard to beat Kimber cable. I went through many brands some more expensive and liked Kimber the best. If you want to check all these out heres a link.

Ahhh the prices!!

Need to get a real job!

Thanks for the info though. I think I might know what I'm looking for now.

Dude I noticed you live in NJ. What town? Im in Manasqaun down the shore.

mogami and canare are both good quality cable you can get in bulk and very widely used by pro rig builders(like Dave Friedman). pretty inexpensive. I don't know, if it's good enough for guys like Dave...good enough for me.

Yeah I was wondering what made the other cables above better than any old Mogami W2524 and a few gold plated Neutrik plugs.

So I figured I'd get like 50ft of this.

Seven straight gold plated Neutrik plugs.

Three of the right angle.

Will that be better than what I have now probably?
You're on the right track imo. Here's another source for bulk cable and ends.

Very good sounding cables. Buy some Neutrik connectors and solder it yourself. You´ll save some money and have GREAT cables

I was impressed by the quality of Armor Gold cables. A little pricey, but solid cables for sure

Also check out the Neutrik silent connector. When you unplug it from your guitar it mutes your signal for nice quiet guitar changes while your signal is hot. Great for quick changes between songs.

I have had nothing but trouble with the Neutrik silent ends. The sleeve that goes in and out which lets you change guitars with no noise ends up sticking after awhile. I know 2 cable makers that refuse to use them anymore. I actually returned a few cables because of these ends.

lower capacitance means more highs get through. My preferences:

G&H plugs - I like them a lot more than neutrik:

And I like Gepco X-Band cable:

I also have some canare GS6 and neutrik ends, they sounded good, stuff above sounds better. I'm sure if you go to the crazy audiophile cables you can get something that sounds a little better, but making my own cables as above presented to me the greatest price to performance ratio.

Really? Bummer. I've had no problem with mine. I just have one on my cord for my wireless pack so it see's lots of action. Maybe a little WD40 to keep it from sticking? I will be keeping an eye on mine now. I have a backup that just has a regular right angle Neutrik plug.

Dimarzio cables have served me well - low noise and very dependable.
