Tossing up between a dual Hotcake, Bogner Red, Amptweaker Big Rock Pro, Kingsley Jouster or an Xotic BB pro.
Any one using a dual OD/Distortion into a Top Boost AC30? Its a '94 TB/6 with Blues.

I use a kingsley jester and bogner red with my vox ac50. Was going to get the jouster, but I wanted the greater tone control that the jester offered. I find vox amps more picky about drive pedals, so a mids knob is pretty essential. I should mention both the bogner red and jester are just a pedal with a boost, so they may not be what you are looking for. The bogner red is much more agressive than the jester, but the jester is more organic. Both are great pedals.

The best dual overdrive pedal so far is the Baldringer Dual Drive. Absolut boutiquee amp-like feeling and attack, can be customized in every sound shape you wanna, more a preamp than a pedal. Lots of options inside the pedal, gain/midboosts, warm modes.

Dirk Baldringer is THE german amp modder since the 80's - he worked for Accept, Rammstein, Lukather....

I played Splawn, Friedman, Steavens, ENGLs Diezel modded Marshalls, SLO a.s.o...but the Dual Drive in front of a Plexi or TTM45
is absolut equal but way more flexible. Turns a single channel into a full 3 channel setup;

Greets

I used to use a Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde pedal with an AC30 several years ago and got great results.

Bogner Red or Blackstar HT-Dual if you want awesome amp in a box tone and feel.

i try something like a

- Analogue man King of tone
- Bad Cat Siamese drive pedal
- Bogner Blue or Red

Looks very nice, but for 450 euro it better be nice.

I hope you plan to post in other threads so it doesn't just look like you are a shill for the company.

Sorry no- I'm just a professional user for over 6 years now.

A Bogner Red for example costs 300€ and is just a (great) distortion pedal.

The DD has 2 completely separate channels incl. EQ, gain & Volume; Its possible to choose
2 completely different kinda characters for each. For example a Marshall Plexi crunch on A and a thick fluid
highgain LUKE leadsound on channel B, like mine has. Or a fenderish SRV Tone on A and a Recto massacre on B (in case anyone needs such a weird combination ;-))

Each channel further more has different options where you can finetune your sound. If your guitar, taste or bandsound changes- send it back and he will customize it for your needs - lifetime and for free!

Each pedal is handmade for YOU and your taste- you have the choice, not like other pedals.
In my opinion important facts for a different view on the price.

PS: It doesn't mean other pedals are bad!!!
