Need help diagnosing an Engl Artist!

So, I sold my Artist, and the guy received it and it now has issues..

It didn't come with a footswitch but he plugged one in briefly, and now the effects loop and channel switching and mid boost buttons don't work! This amp always worked flawlessly..

The guy's being cool about it, and I assured him I've got his back. But WTF could be going on?? He said the clean channel works. I just wonder what he put in the loop and if he's trying 4CM. I had him send me shots of the settings, and he didn't have the loop to 100% wet, which will sound wonky, but doesn't explain the buttons not working! I wonder if he screwed up the relays somehow hooking up a footswitch wrong? I'm baffled.

I have heard that if you plug the wrong footswitch in to certain amps, you run the risk of shorting out relays. But, I have no personal or technical knowledge of this happening.

Problem solved! Something came loose in transit, buyer fixed it, and is a happy camper!

Ribbon connector came loose.
