Need New Delay: Carbon Copy, Flashback, ??

I picked up a Supa Puss recently. I've never owned an Analog Delay before. The difference between an AD and a DD is like barbecue chicken to boiled chicken.. BUT a good DD has it's place, especially for long background delays I think.

It's not cheap, but has some cool features like true bypass, or a buffered bypass that allows your delay trails to decay off when you turn it off. The tap delay button is cool as well to sync with tempos in the fly.

I have had my TC "Snatch-Crack" Delay since about 2012 and I just got a boss DD7 this week...

I love them both....

The Carbon Copy is decent just a tad "one trick" as far as the delay tones go...

The TC has a few flavors which is nice and a looper too.

The TC Probably the best bang for the buck out there.

I have been using a Line 6 DL4 for a while now, its pretty neat but have been itching to play around with some flashbacks, but then again, I am a tc electronic junkie. Their looper, reverb, chorus, and tuner are all on my pedal board currently.

DL8(Digital) or El Capistan(Tape)

This...just got the El Capistan today. So far so good!! The DL-8 is a killer pedal too!!

-MOOG-

-the undisputed KING of analog delay's-

-close the thread, another problem solved by SG GUY-

-if this keeps up I'm gonna need a cape!!-

I've tried a lot of delays over the years but I like the Eventide Timefactor the most. That's what I'm using today. It's a keeper.

I used a Digitech Hardwire DL-8 with my Splawn Quick rod. Sounds great. I would highly recomend them. They can be found cheap on eBay. The delay algorithms are from the Lexicon PCM family. If they are good enough for Luke, they should work for everyone. Lol.

I have a Digitech DL8 and a TC flashback X4. Both are great delays. On the DL8, I use it in a TB looper and leave it in tap tempo mode, works great.

I went from the DD3 to a Flashback mini. Love it. Tone print is kinda cool too.

The Boss DM-2W Waza Craft sounds great in the demos I've seen. I'm leaning towards that one for my 2nd board. Have a TimeLine on my 1st board.

I've had a lot also and the eventide time factor is the purest, least tone degrade of them all. Totally blown away by this pedal. Worth the price of admission

I glad someone else has discovered the glory of the 3 pusses. :D I'm almost positive that all the models are based on the CC with the Echo-Puss being the closest one to it. It just has the trim pots that are internal on the CC mounted on the outside with the inclusion of a tone and blend knob as well. Making it even more versatile.
