Got really interested in a 6505+, anyone got som experience to share?

Very Brutal, yet very Fizzy, depending on everything else.

I sold mine but would love another.

If you have the extra $$$$$ Bogner twin Jet imo is a super beefed up 6505.

yeah I run a pedal into my 2203, I will keep the 2203, it's just that I need another flavor
for our forthcoming album. I was at the local musicstore today and I tested the 6505
again, so I asked them to keep it for tomorrow, when I'm going to buy it :D.
I compared it to the dual rec in the store and the dual rec was actually very fizzy to me!
I loved the sound of the 6505 through the mesa OS. Exactly what I was looking for. It
actually got enough mids. To me the Mesa is way to "nice" sounding, the distortion is way
too silky. I understand it is working for metal but not really for our type of music. But the
the 6505 will hopefully nail it! Yes I will have to record it first before I can say I'm 100%
satisfied. So next week will be tracking with it, 6505 -> Mesa OS 4x12 -> sm57 & 421 -> Avedis MA5 and Api 512C -> Api 5500 -> Pro tools and we'll see :)

Look for a used Fryette Sig:X.

I've spent a lot of time with most of the amps on this thread and I couldn't agree with this statement more. I have had mine for a couple of months now and i'm still blown away how many killer sounds are on board. The cool thing is there are a lot of switches and dials but it's really tough to make it sound bad. It can cop a ton of tones as well. Great amp!

Thx for all input, I have now tried the 6505 for a few rehearsels and its a keeper. :D
