I'm looking for a micro sized tremolo pedal to use for the intro to Black by Sevendust. What's out there? Smaller the better. And square wave would be better, but optical could work.

I found the Trelicopter by Mooer which sounds like it might work, just not sure if the pulses are sharp enough to match that intro.

While not micro, the Catalinbread Semaphore is one kick ass tremolo with loads of options! I'm a big fan of tremolo and I went on the hunt for the best of the best. The Catalinbread nailed it for me! YMMV.

If you want versatile trem sounds you should look into the Zvex stuff. Small footprint too. Other options are the Line 6 M series, which all do a great job of pattern and other trems.

My Dr. Scientist Tremolessence is badass and can do that sound but an expression pedal is needed to get the most of it. If you want cheaper, the Boss TR-2 is awesome for the money. I used it around 2000 and we covered Black by 7D.

I woud steer clear of the Mooer. It might sound good but the internals are crap. Had a switch physically break with the flick of my finger. Good sounds but the components are just total junk IMO. Demeter or Malleko

Thanks for the replies so far, but I've got to to stick to a small foot print like I have pictured. It needs to fit in that area on the far right just below my AnalogMan Bi-Chorus.
