Need recommendation for a cheap multi efx pedal

So I’ve been using a Line 6 POD XT Live since it was first introduced and I love it. I’ve played shows with it direct to the board and I’ve been using it with my 5150 III 50 watt for eq, delay, comp, noise gate and as a channel switcher.

That being said, I think it’s on its last limbs. Pretty good run if you ask me.

I’m looking for a decent, but cheap multi efx pedal that I can use for simple programming… a little delay, compression and noise gate for lead tones and some reverb, delay and compression for cleans. Having the ability to control the amp via midi would be great too. But not a deal breaker.

I don’t play out anymore so I’m not looking for anything crazy… maybe something under $300 - $400.

Any suggestions?

I use a Zoom G9.2tt floor effects processor as an effects unit/ MIDI controller for either my Krank Nineteen80 Jr. 20 watt amp head or a Marshall 6101 1x12 combo amp. Works quite well for me plus I can IA the effects within the preset.

Boss ME-80 or used GT-100. That said, Roland/Boss is scheduled to make some new gear announcements over the next week or two, depending on what they have the prices for current gear may go down, or they may have something better that meets your needs.

FWIW, I get my main sounds from my Boss GT-100 direct or effects only into amps.

Nova System is going pretty cheap on the used market. Also the Line 6 M9

That's easy. Line 6 HD 500. Get a used one all day on the cheap. It works killer with the EVH 50 watt. The midi switches channels on the EVH and is seemless. Watch on youtube how to program the 2 together it's super easy. A thing of beauty how those two units interact.
