Have always wanted to check one out and I now have a combo. Is it Ralph or Paige who has the god like settings?

Here's mine. And no offense to those that like them, but I think the combo's sound like crap. You need to add a Thiele if you want any sort of heavy sound out of it...or plug into a 2x12 or 4x12. I run a short head with an open back and Thiele and I love the combo.

Top from left to right:
R1 gain 5
R2 gain 10 (pulled)
R1 treble 6
R1+R2 bass 1.5
R1 + R2 mid 7
R2 Treble 10

R1 Presence 7
R2 Presence 2
Lead Presence 2

Bottom from left to right
Lead gain 8 (pulled for single coils, pushed in for humbuckers)
Lead treble 8
Lead bass 1
Lead mid 1.5
Lead Drive 8.5

Channel masters
R1 8
R2 3.5
Lead 3.75

EQ sliders
80hz Top line or maxed
240hz Middle line
750hz halfway between middle and lower line
2220hz Middle line
6600hz halfway between middle and upper line

Master volume 1.75-2

Full power
Pentode
Harmonics
Simulclass

I just put a Telefunken in V1 on mine and it's awesome! If you've never played one before, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on R2. Most hate it...I like it.

Take care,
Jason

Jeff, here are a couple I drew up for Ralph and SFW

Thanks guys she is going thru my Eggy 4x12 tomorrow. Hal thanks for the great renderings!

Try triode and Mid gain! Presence and Gain Pulled! Best tone for me

Try using the presence pushed in then pulled, you'll have to adjust the volume. Depending on what cab you have you will get different results with the presence knob, it really changes the sound.

And for a IIC+ tone, try using triode, Harmonics, and presence pulled out.

Sold mine years ago but still recall the lead settings:

Tweed Power
Lead Gain: 7 (try both in and out)
Bass: 2.5
Mid: 7.5
Treb: 4.5
Lead Drive: 7 pulled
Master 4-5
Output: Whatever-ish.
Graphic EQ: Classic V but slightly slanted as the bassier side was slightly higher than the treble side.
Pentode
Harmonics
Simulclass
Presence: 3
w/ Vintage 30s

Also try all gains on 10 pushed in and an extreme V on Full power. That's a cool sound.

Clean channel has a nice pushed sound with gain on 10 as well & no Graphic EQ (w/ single coils).

You guys and your massive amount of gain :D

I use 3.5 on the lead with a BB with the gain all the way rolled off and volume 3/4 more distortion then id ever need :) then again i am pushing the amp very hard

Probably Ralph.

While you're at it, you can start that Mark IV module

Jeff!! I agree with jski59 about the combos needing an extra cab. With that said, if you use my settings, definitely play around with the graphic EQ. I forgot to mention to everyone that I was using a very dark sounding speaker/cab for those setting and when some people used my settings with another speake/cabr, it almost took off there face with the high end lol!!

Much different thru my Eggy 4x12 with Warehouse V30's and 3 tone bra's. Has a ton of mids...so far only lead channel is cool. The others are meh...I will continue to mess around today. Thanks for all your help guys. Typical hot rodded Fender. You can't even have any bass in the eq it has to all come at the end or you have a flubby hot rodded fender.

I never got along with the Rhythm 2 Channel; it seemed really stale to me. I also prefer the Mark I clean vs. the Mark IV clean (more Fendery vs. the lean "hyper clean"). IMO the Mark IIC+ is much better and is more dynamic. The IIC+ settings for the Mark IV will not make it sound like a IIC+.

My best result for the Mark IV
(Settings not in O:Clock but actual know numbers)
Lead channel is easy both lead and channel gain between 7 and 8, pull gain boost, treble between 8 and 10 middle 5 to 6 and bass 1 to 3. This will cover the "Mark" lead sound. Depending on pick-up type (single, Hum) you can increase or decrease the gains. Note that the lead gain increases add lows, mids, and body to the sound and the lead drive will bring out more top end. Work these knob combos to dial in. For blues just back down the Lead drive to 5 and the gain to 6 and there you have it. I prefer presence pulled to thin out the middle and allow for more channel volume pump. As for EQ I start with the standard Mesa smile and then use this and the presence controls to adjust to each room.
RHY2 can be tricky, for me I like channel on 10 pulled and find that the R2 Treble is the key for me, it really adds gain and helps cut. Additionally RHY2 can be used as an alternate clean sound but more Deluxe reverb, by pushing in the gain and backing down the channel drive to 5 or under.
RHY1 is a very cool channel and is quite versatile. I really like a fat clean sound and prefer running the RHY1 channel volume on 10, pull for bright with treble in the 7 to 8 area, Mids at 5 and bass at 3. For a thinner sound back the channel volume as low as you can 2 to 3 and it really thins out pull bright to taste.
Power amp section very cool,
You should try all power settings; however a very cool option is running half power and class A for 15 watts. You can really crank the master for a different feel. Additionally experiment with EL34s in the outer slots in all power options.
Mid-boost can be cool, but not my thing.
Agreed an extension cabinet is a must for a real fat sound, however you will be surprised in very noisy live situations with other guitars, keys, or horns, the single 12 will cut through and be heard.
My 2 cents.
