So I'm trading out my 2x12 Mesa for a 4x12 Mesa because I'm looking to play shows now and all that good stuff. Basically I need to know if this cab has V30s or C90s. I know that the older Road case built 4x12s had either option so maybe you guys could take a look. I'll show some examples. The guy I'm getting it from can't check it out to see if it uses V30s or what not.

Judging by the cones though I think it may be a V30 because the cone looks a bit smaller like a V30 would.

Here's the cab in question

Now, here's a cab with V30s in it.

Any help would be awesome.

I do a lot of recording so speaker choice is pretty important to me.

pictures suck, too hard to tell.

Maybe look at the speakers at Mesa's website.

Pretty sure the bottom roadcase is all EV speakers.

Anyways super cool cabs, and good luck.

If you got a way of getting ahold of physcodave, he knows this stuff pretty good.

yea, that's what I was thinking too. never had a c90, so not sure about those...

Definitely V30's, saw this posted on the boogie board as well.
Decided to respond here as well.

The bottom road cab is all EV's like Capulin Overdrive stated.

C90's look like this, only pic I have:

Here are a couple pics of an MC-90 Black Shadow I am trying to sell in perfectly good condition.

The road case one is all EVM's
The first pic is either V30's that were switched out since the metal face cabinets NEVER came with them.
Or, they could be the Mesa Vintage 50 speakers made by Eminence.
I have one of each, so I will have to check the speakers later.
