Need suggestion on how to control this rig

Hi folks,

I'm currently in the process of assembling a rig with the following components (I already have all the components):

Friedman JJ Jr amp
Friedman 1x12 amp cab
Boss WAZA Tub Amp Expander
Synergy Syn 2

I plan to us the WAZA TAE for amp attenuation and effects. The Syn 2 will be connected to the JJ Jr to add more channels. I need help with selecting a controller that I can use to do the following:

1. Change channels on the Friedman JJ Jr
2. Change channels on the Syn 2
3. Control the WAZA TAE, specifically having the ability of changing presets created in the WAZA that combine amp channel switching on the JJ Jr and the Syn 2 with effects (eg. JJ Jr clean channel with reverb from WAZA, Friedman JBE channel with delay from WAZA, Syn 2 OS module channel 1 with WAZA Delay, etc)

I assume that with a midi controller I could do this (not sure about changing channels on the JJ Jr). Which controller would you suggest I use to achieve what I want to do and what would be the suggested routing to get this done?

Every midi controller can control this setup.
TAE can switch channels on Friedman with amp switch and SYN-2 with midi commands
 
Yes.
How many presets do You use ? Multi-fx with midi are good solution too for price of Ground control.
 
The reality is that I use few effects (chorus, delay, reverb), so in general, i use around 5-6 presets.
 
For example Boss MS-3 give You midi, 3 loops for pedals and 4-preset buttons (8presets) which can be hold or have another function (8 functions/settings per preset) on second press. Bonus is tuner, EQ, noise gater, very usable ODs and basic effects etc.
 
The Boss M-3 sounds appealing, but wouldn't it be a bit redundant given that I have a TAE that has effects?
 
TAE gives You effects only in effect loop. MS-3 gives You effect before preamp (very useful for small gigs/jams only with JJ Jr). You can switch OD, preamp, delay and volume boost on one click for example. You can take effect like bonus in MS-3 for price of Ground control when big midi board in not necessary:)
