GUYS!!!!!!!! (and Laura....)....

WTF?!?!?! This place used to rock, seriously. I've been lurking and passing by here and there trying to get my internet muso-groove-on and this place has kinda gone limp :aww:

Tell me I'm wrong. Please. Tell me we're all just too busy having fun and [actually playing our gear rather than talking about our gear....I know, I know, a very fine line indeed].

Jut saying - I knew this place when it was punching and full of vicarious sonic goodness. In the words of VH, where have all the good times gone?? :confused:

And where the HELL are some of the royalty?? Puff?? Zachman?? Even my surrogate dad Peter D.?? Dozens more might I add.

Where the hell did you all go when I was taking a year off to surf....?

I would be surprised if it came back to what it was ? This was the forum I hung out at. Now I hang out on the strictly fuzz thread over at tgp. There are a few people I stop over here to see like mailmman & oj..... But it sure the foc ain't what she was.... Everyone is gone.

Anyone got any suggestions to bring her back to life ???

I've been making Picante Sauce (crops are in - Mango/Pineapple/Ghost Pepper - best version to date), playing a lot of acoustic guitar and taking care of things around the house to prepare for Polar Vortex III. I ##$%#$% HATE winter.

I'm not royalty, but I'm apparently a "Super Stah" (it says so by my avatar) and I check-in every day :D

Some of the finest picante sauce I've had the pleasure of eating. And I ate it in quantity and rather quickly. Hang in there on the winter front!!

IMO, the days of the Guitar Forum are over. Looking at this place, you'd think there were 3-4 amps worth talking about. You got guys, who can't play for shit, doing amp reviews, as if they are some kind of sage. You got shills (Pete Thorn) who's only interest is to cross-post as many shill reviews as possible. Shit gets old real fast.
You even got a new forum (Groomed COCK-Gobblers) where they expand on the 2 amp brands. It's a fucking joke.

This is an 80's dump. The folks I talk gear with are the same guys that bolted from this shithole.

I started here to get gear opinions, buy/sell etc. I've gained a lot of knowledge about gear and like to contribute when I can...people seem to take shit waaay to seriously at times and I try to stay out of it...except when it concerned charveldan :lol: :LOL: not sure what the problem is with rt? Maybe the old timers :lol: :LOL: are just too busy in their lives to give a shit anymore?
 
Then you get all the newer metal jerks that ruin it for everyone :)

I think the only proven way to get a place like this going crazy is to have contests and giveaways.
