Netherlands customs has my guitar!

So I am expecting an endorsement guitar shipped from CR Alsip guitars in Kansas to my house here in the Netherlands. Has anyone ever dealt with dutch customs before?

Yes, you have to pay import duties and VAT (invoerrechten en BTW). Normally, UPS or FEDEX deals with that on behave of you and you get the bill later. I dont know about USPS.
