Got some new toys and thought I'd share.
I've had the Wet Reverb and the Detox EQ for a while now.
The Wet Reverb is great.
It's one of the best reverb effects you can find in a stompbox IMHO.
It covers an amazing amount of territory with only two knobs.
With the mix low, it's warm, smooth and dark.
Increase the mix past 12 o'clock and it starts to brighten up for more deeper, ambient type effects.
But it never gets that harsh metallic top-end I hear in most other reverb stompboxes.
The Detox EQ is a very interesting pedal.
I wasn't jiving with it at first, but after a few weeks of tweaking it's becoming one of my fave pedals.
My Peters has a shared EQ and I set my EQ for the Gryphon channel with a fair helping of mids.
I use the Detox EQ on my Halo channel to pull some of the mids and to add some sparkle.
Also helps humbucker equipped guitars get a very clean sound.
Kind of like splitting the coils, but without the hum.
Haven't had any time with the T1M Buffer as it just arrived here this afternoon.
I got it to replace the buffer in my Korg DT10.
The Korg DT10 got booted off my board by the Sonic Research Turbo Tuner, so I needed a simple buffer to fill the void at the front end of my board.
Read good things about it here the other day and decided to give it a try in my chain.
I'll put it through its paces over the next few days.
After moving some of the FX on my board, I now have room for another drive pedal and another modulation pedal.
But that's a story for another day.
All that's left to do for now is tidy up my cables for the new board configuration.
