I really dig the Mesa MKII plugin. I mostly go for heavier sounds but you can get some great clean tones too. Like all the neural plugins it also has great FX plus it has those new features like ( forget what they’re called ) being able to change the pitch and that cool stereo doubler effect. I mostly use it as a standalone just to play. I had a hell of a time with the plug-in for recording. Meaning the tone just wasn’t working out for me. I have a lot of neural dsp plugins and for some reason the tone just didn’t work for me when recording. I felt like I was doing endless EQ tweaks. I’ll have to give it another shot. Definitely check out the demo. For recording, I’ve been hooked on the petrucci archetype.
