Will the top fit a regular sized head ? I'm a big fan of the Bogner OS 2x12 , but this is :inlove:

Yes...

The dimensions are 29.75 wide, 11.9 deep, and 26 tall.

Have any of you guys tried building from kits like the lopoline stuff? That always interested me but imagine the damn tolexing to be the trickiest part.

I almost went that route before I decided to do it myself. Its much cheaper to build one on your own if you can. It cost me $133 for all materials(not counting speakers) and 8 hours so far on 2 cabs.

Those lopo kits do look cool. All the cuts are done for you. Just glue and nail it togother then finish it.

I had to Google them, but that is a cool kit.

I could knock one of those out in a day.

The worst part about my cab was the figuring out how to make look like I wanted, but work like I wanted.

So you designed yours yourself?

Of course, that is why I had so much trouble making look like I wanted. I was just making this shit up as I went along.

Who knows, it may sound like ass.

I could not decide if I wanted a sealed or open cab, so at the last minute I did both.

Nice work looks like it will be tight sounding yet percussive at the same time.

All tucked away until I can get some speakers ordered.

Great job!!!!! Good call on making the baffle delete piece as you now have even more options.

Did not know you had so many marshalls, what do you have?

Currently... :D

'73 Superlead (modded by Friedman)
'93 Superlead (Modded by Friedman)
40th anniversary JTM 45/100
Class 5

I sold off the others (800 and 2555), but I want another early '70's Superlead.

Nice work on the cab! I see you're burning up the rest of those handwired metal handles before you use the good ones, huh? ;)

What are those getting put into? Future 4x12 builds, or restorations?

Thanks man! You know all of this is your fault.

Yep, that was (2x12) the last set of the Marshall handles. I have another '73 4x12 I am finishing up that I am using yours on. The other set was for another cab I thought I had all but paid for, but it got sold out from under me. :gethim:

I will get with you next week about some speakers for the 2x12. :D

I'm used to taking the blame, inspiring people and enabling others. It's just part of my diabolical plan for world tone domination, enslaving one player at a time. ;)
