new 6 string build (pics)

Hello everybody,

I am currently building this 6 string 17th anniversary guitar for a customer and I have some pictures which I would like to share with you, enjoy!

The top is unique, this is some very rare salvaged Feather Crotch Claro Walnut!

Once glued to the one piece Sapelli Mahogany body:

Tracing the body shape, ready for the bandsaw...

Body cut out, sides sanded nice and clean...

Macassar Ebony pickup mounting rings...

This guitar will feature my exclusive photo-luminescent fingerboard inlay system 'HufGlow', every block is carefully inlayed:

Carving and shaping the neck...

Neck fitted to the body, tight fit!

Finally starting to look like a guitar after a few weeks of work, now ready for final sanding, fretwork and finishing...

This is after applying the first sealer coat:

Then after 2 days of curing, everything is sanded back flush with some 600 grit wet sandpaper, then I applied the first coat and this is how it looks like:

now I shall repeat the operation until I build up 15 coats...

Also received some custom pickups for another project with the dark flame maple texture/finish:
