Hey everyone,

Just wanted to make a post here showing my new amp. I had to deliberate for quite awhile on what to get. I wanted something super tight, high quality and modern.

I went with the Hermansson 5 Gain Stage Metal Mod in a Marshall 1959 SLP. I haven't received the amp yet and I am very excited. Henric has been absolutely awesome to communicate with, and just from the short emails we have had I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new amp. He has been giving me updates as he goes. I will update this thread as progress is made, and will try to make some sound clips.
Updated with Clip;

Here are some pics of the build progress;

Henric's work is nothing short of amazing.

Now’s your chance. Selling mine.

Damn man that thing looks like a monster. In regards to channel 3 is there anything you could compare it to?

That is awesome. All of his stuff is super impressive.

Honestly for me it was between that and the Evil Pumpkin for me, I think I made the right choice, the last few Marshall’s he’s put out sound out of this world :rock: :rock:

I'll admit that the NAMM clip JerEvil recorded of the Evil Pumpkin sounded pretty killer and it had some nice features, But I also would go with the Hermansson. It might not matter to some, but the EP is ugly as sin. :lol: :LOL:

Love the tone of his amps, but every time I see one I wonder how many hours he wasted blacking out / sanding values off of components.

Meh, doesn’t really bother me at all. His choice to keep his intellectual property his

I honestly wasn’t impressed with the clips of the Fortin EP. Sounded cold and sterile to me. Your Monomyth clips sounded way better to me. Choosing the Henricsson over the EP seems like a no brainer IMO

The only NAMM clips that impressed me were the ones with the Dover. I’m curious now to try one

It doesn't bother me either, it's just a pointless waste of time. Anybody that really wants to reverse one is going to have a meter and be able to measure the components without a problem...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Some components can't be measured 'in circuit' so you'd have to unsolder/lift one end of some. But point taken, reversing one would just be harder.

I do find it more than coincidental that two amp 'brands' that command top dollar; Dumbles and Camerons, both had that shroud of mystery around them (nevermind that they have legendary tones lol).

titties out, nice stuff, dig it, another nice comment, cool beans, awesome sauce, and yeah man that's cool dude, awesome, comment
