Got this new little Yamaha Toaster amp. It nails the VH1 tone so close its comical.
Video can sort of get you there. But in the room. FN Dead on. ;)

Having problems uploading vids. I can do a better one next time. Just wanted to get the tone down.
Yup. It's the mini Yamaha radiator amp .
10 watts.

So this amp sounds nothing like the tone? :dunno:
It nails it in the room.

YMMV ;)

Glad you're diggin the amp Dan! It's a cool little amp for sure

That sounds very close! Nice. Wonder if its slaveable to my Strategy 400? Muahahaha!

Yep Ed played a 68' Yamaha with a variac.

Be true to tone, not schematics or builders. Ed didn't play your favourite amp either.

Horrible video, turn on a goddamn light or something fer crying out loud.

What amp is it btw?
Well I had a video of me walking nude down the street with sparklers shooting out my ass.
But felt that was a bit "too much" so I just went with plan "B" of just the sound clip.

You will dig it Greg~!
I had an old Vox combo for noodling in the house. This thing just blows it out the water!! ;)

Again....not mic'd to a mixer....no hard panning to the left...yadda...
This was a tiny microphone(Zoom Q3) placed in front of the amp.
really is a kick ass little combo if your looking for something.
And you can power it with "AA" batteries if you want to take it out while walking nude down the street with sparklers shooting out your ass.

You don't know what my favorite amp is ...

My first amp in the Military was a Yamaha G112 in 1981'.

Nice!!!!

I bought one a year or so ago, and for practice at home, I really think it's about perfect. Plus you can use the auxiliary input to play a song though to practice with. Crazy good at super low volumes.
