new amp day: Dumble D'lite 22 watt brown note clone

Pics and clips to come, spiffy little 22 watt Brown Note kit dumble clone with a hardwood headshell. Was on sale at the gear page, couldn't figure out why nobody was pulling the trigger. So I did.

Nice cleans, nice overdrive, more of a blues/rock machine than anything. I'll have to see how it takes to a BYOC TriBoost or a modded TS9. Also got the 'kleinulator' - a solid state clone of the dumbleator so I can run fx in the loop a little better.

Other than buying maybe a few cabs for the 'wreck clones, this 'umble' and the Bogner and I'm done then, until GAS hits again and my gear slush fund recovers.

I saw that in the TGP amps section, I am surprised nobody hit.MAybe because it was not $3000+ :lol: :LOL:

MAn you have been on a warpath lately with gear!
 
The D'Lite had been deemed a worthless tone beast by the powers that be at TGP.....However, those of us here at RT think you've got yourself a great amp. Enjoy! :thumbsup:

Yeah, I usually spend a lot more on guitars than I do amps... thought it would be neat to get rid of some guitars I didn't play a lot and turn em into amps. I was surprised that the amp sat so long on the gear page as it did... seemed perfect for that crowd. I've had great luck with my trainwreck clones, figured a dumble might be fun to have too. At worst I have something kewl to take to an ampfest! :)

Thanks. That's interesting, had no idea TGP in general didn't dig em. They kinda bag on Ceriatone too, and I think the Ceriatone stuff is a freakin' bargain. It's fun watching Zucker post about em!
 
Zucker has the most hillarious playing face ever! Well, up there for sure.
