Well I called to see if I could pick it up tonite but the hub is too far away. I just hate to see tube amps handled more then needed. Always a chance for breakage.

I played one at the Atlanta GC and it is a gain monster. More gain than the original, especially on channel 2. A little different in the basic tone as well. Hope you like it.

Well the thing going in my favor on this is I have nothing to compare it to. Never played the original.
Sounds like Channel 2 is where its at on these Babies.

/\ Yeah but that 51503 is sooo awesome sounding and thanks for a good reiew of the Archon I was lookiing at them online but was unsure about them until I read your post.

Man that Archon is so bad ass!! At least for my experience with it. Again....dialed it in kinda different. But it was really clear and had that great tone and edge. If I didnt have the VH4 I would of bought that thing in a second!!
Had 4 guys over that night jamming. They all did the A/B test. Two of the guys ordered the Archon that night!

The Stealth is an awesome machine. I cranked mine uptoday and was jamming to a Tesla song and I have not had that much fun in a long time.

I wish they made these with bias test points and a pot on the back or maybe I should just buck up and learn how to take it outta the headshell to bias. Does the 5153 pretty much put the 6505 series to shame? Congrats dude! The stealth is def the coolest looking one. I don't see them for sale very often.

I have owned the Herbert and the VH4. I think it holds it own easy.
Its a mean mutha......
Yet the CLARITY and defined notes/chords hold true.
Sounds killer. Rock or metal.
