Got this amp on a trade from Gxsrbusa (Tommy boy or sweet tits as I call him)
Icing on the cake was the nude pics of himself he taped to the headshell.
soooooo....
It is the Bogner Twin Jet.
Wow....is this thing a beast.
It is my first Bogner and am I ever late to the show. ;)
Only messed with it for about half hour. Sorta weird to dial in. Very touchy in that area.
Cant get crazy cranking the knobs.
Was running it thru my normal set up of two Lynch box 4x12 cabs. Emenince Super V speakers.
Was bone crushing.
If you ever get the chance to check one out.....DO IT!!!

nice, loved channel 2 on the TJ I had...def a little weird to dial in, that global pres. will make or break the sound, at least on the one i had. I actually like that headshell, i had crazy rattling with the metal grill/plastic logo I had.

What I noticed as you mentioned was the presence knob. tweak it "just a tad" to much and thins it out.
Not enough....it sorta gets muffly.
But when you get that sweet spot.....man.
Killer
Cant wait to hear it with my drummer really hammering it down. :D

exactly man...i think i ran my pres aroun 1 or 2 o clock... and i was shocked at how good the mids still sounded with the KT88s.... really only sold it because I wanted a cleaner channel 1, and also to fund an EVH Stealth. Just recently got a Rev Blue Uber that I sent to Voodoo to have Trace work his magic on... man can't wait to get it back. Anyways congrats on a badass amp dude.

Thanks man...this really is alot different then I been playing thru the years.
Bet that Modded Blue is gonna be sweeeeeeeeeeeeet! :D

Congrats Dan! I LOVE mine that's for sure.
Like I said before....
asking input to thin out amp collections from You guys is like asking the 500 LB woman how to lose weight.

Don't show anyone those pics!

Those were for your eyes only.

It took me forever to figure out the EQ on this amp. Once I did, it came alive. I almost gave up on it until I figured out the master presence. As stated earlier, it can make or break or break the low amp. Once you find the goods, this amp delivers.

If it weren't for gas I would still have it! At least I still have my Rev Green.

Super stoked you dig the amp bro.

Luv U sweet cheecks. :inlove:

Thanks brother.
If you wouldnt of gave me the heads up I would of been going nuts trying to dial it in like a 'normal' amp.
Dont worry....the pics are safe with me.
Only posted them on craigslist. That should be ok right?

Sure, CL is fine!
Yeah, Adlene did the best he could to guide through the EQ but I had to fail by myself. Lol. Once I got it though. Fire breathing monster. :rawk:

The amp is a true out-of-control monster. I still love mine 5 years later. Congrats!

Its really touchy isnt it though? :emofag: :grim:

If you over shoot the knob a tad....it s back to square one.
Not as bad as a Mark III to dial in though. :D

Yeah. I'm still blown away by the range of tones it has available, and how well the thing holds together at almost unbearably loud volumes. :rawk:
