I don't know if it was the Diezel 4x12s or what but that M90 just sounded perfect to me. The feel was incredible and the tone was exactly what I was after.

Would love to own a Herbert some day but it is not happening for quite a while as I now have to shop for a lawn tractor

Lawn tractor? Your new lawn tractor is your son with a garage sale purchased push mower. More fun money for Scotty

Sounds like you had an awesome day. You're a lucky man Jim. Well, I guess Greg is pretty lucky too.

Herbert....Herbert.........Herbert........

If you can afford one... I doubt you'll need another amp. It does it all.
That is going to be my BE ALL END ALL AMP. Wanted one for years.....
just cant scrape up that much cash.
One day though....

Oh No.........
That ENGL sounds like a dream!
Not selling that anytime soon.
Just that Hebert has been one I wanted for YEARS......
Just so damn pricey!
I could buy 3 of the Fireball 100 and cost about the same as the Herbert.
Dont get me wrong....
that new ENGL is a KILLING MACHINE!
VERY CLEAR and NICE ATTACK. Handles everything we play with ease.
Loving it.

Yep a very fun day. Greg is to cool for alowing me to come over and play his amps. The Herbert is an amzing amp. Seems like there is nothing that amp can't do and do very well. Ever try an Elmwood?

Never tried the Elmwood, I always thought that I could cop the tone with other amps but have no clue about feel.

Pete I was just floored. I left Gregs house just amazed at the tones I had just heard.

From what I have heard I would like to try the new Uber, very cool vibe I hear from it.

I really should get a zero turn machine, I have a ton of obsticles to go around. My parents have one of those leaf shredder machines, it is soft sided and damn it does a good job!

Probably going with a Deere, looking at the L135.

Man.....that is a good looking lawnmower.
Seems like alot of us are in the same boat eh?
I just had to replace my old rider. Didnt get the zero turn one either. But did score a nice 18HP rider that does a great job. ;)

Here is the Tone Merchants video of the M90. We had it a litle brighter and rawer than this but you get the idea.

It was a lot of fun the wife and kids took off for the afternoon and we opened the amps up so jim could get a real good feel of what they are like. My home is open to any R.T's that are in the area or passing through.

All and jim I adjusted the neck on the jackson warrior it had a very tiny back bow to it it plays sweet now.

Greg I'm actually trying to sell my 1997 Taylor 914c to raise the funds to buy an Elmwood M90. That amp has impressed me like no other amp has.

Jim.
I am glad that you found what you have been looking for. Try to find a front loaded cab for it because even the elmwood cabs are front loaded or at least a good v30 cab elmo really likes v30's...

Gotta get my hands on the M90. Then I'll worry about the cab. I won't be surprised at all if I find the amp sounds better through V30s than Greenbacks. But if it sounds good through Greenbacks then hey why fight it.

I here you, I wonder how it would sound with greenbacks. Hey if you have some bring them over and try them out then you would know right upfront. ;)

Greg, where are you at? Around Indiana? I'm in North Huntingdon. I'd love to get together. I have a monster "rack of doom" with all the Egnater goodies and my Anderson and Robin guitars you could check out.
