Just got my new dual amp head/rack case from A&S Cases. Its about the size of a Whirlpool refrigerator and built like a brick shit house. Time to load it up and rewire everything, which seems to be my new hobby. In it will go the Elmo M90 and VH4, but had the one head compartment done to change out heads and add extra foam, as I change my mind on amp combination frequently . Complete with a rack drawer and cable storage plus two small roadies, a real high-end beer/drink support :D . The plug for A&S Cases though...fast custom service and solid - I was impressed.

out of curiosity, how much?

It was about $1000. But, I had it made from 1/2" ply instead of 3/8" plus the extras mentioned above (cable storage + drawer). Went with the high end casters and locking latches too. For a little upcharge, they put me at the front of the pack, which is why I got it pretty quick. Normal build time was about 3 weeks. It was done in a week. Looking around at some of the others, the price is a little more, but it is solid. This is the third one I have had done and I don't recommend to go cheap here, cause they will fall apart.

Yeah, I can't decide between an A&S Air Rack or SKB military shockmount. How you going to move that thing?

Jim over at A&S cases helped me design the plexi doors and adjustable rails on my 20 spacers for my tone library.

4" casters. But, we have a trailer to move our stuff. Or, I have a GMC Jimmy that is lifted. Lower the tail gate and it pivots perfect on it and slide it in on its back. Good thing about these road cases, just lay them down and slide them in. Stairs become a real pain in the ass though .

Yep. I like those doors. Could use those to keep the dust out.

I have a couple A&S cases...they are built extremely well.

My dual head/rack case is a Jan-Al and is not near as good as my A&S cases. Either way, they are a total PITA to move!

I guess they can double as a coffin when I have a heart attack moving it

Well, I would never wish that on you - but if it goes down like that I'll volunteer to remove the gear for you to makeroom. :D
