New BE 100 User

Hi guys,

since Monday I'm a lucky BE 100 User :rock:
Playing through my original Marshall cab from 1968 (with four 25w Greenbacks) is absolutely awesome!
I'm owning many amps (too many if you ask my wife ...) but this one is really curing my GAS ;)

I'm just wondering if it is possible to use an A/B box to switch between the BE and the HBE channel.

No the a/b box will not work with the be-100
 
Hi Dave, just bought one of your BE 100's, are you saying a passive AB box wil not work to switch between BE and HBE inputs? If so thats a bummer as I really like the BE input with gain at 5 and then switching to HBE with gain at same level for bigger crunch/soloing. If you only use one at a time (as in no A+B) this is still a no go? Just want to be sure as I was about to order an A/B box. Thanks

I did the same thing on the DS. :lol: :LOL: Didn't know that you could use an A/B. Both my Friedman's are great amps. :yes:
 
I can make the hbe foot switchable. Cost is 150.00

Dave can the BE/HBE toggle swith on the rear pannel be controlled by a footswitch? (obviously it would need wire routing) I know the front jack input can't.

Question: Will the $150 mod will allow you to select BE, HBE or Clean (3 choices) or just whichever input you are plugged-into and a clean (2 choices)?

Can George do it in production or does it need to go back to you in Hollywood?
 
So one switch will do the clean to dirty the other is a boost (hbe) which is usable on the clean also.
 
So it does not switchbetween be and hbe?
Sounds like a boost like the bogners have and not switching b/wbe and hbe
 
When I do the mod it switches the hbe in and out. That effectively is a boost in front of the BE.
