New cab day, with clips!

Bought an engl 4x12 this weekend off a buddy of mine. Was nice enough to put the speakers of my choice in it. After hearing his with creamback 65s and V30s in an X pattern, I had to have the same setup, absolutely mind blowing cab. Spent all weekend micing it up at his studio, and it’s quite amazing how different mic placement can be even from one side of the speaker to the other: completely different sounding. All reamps were done with the exact same mic position so expect similarities in tone, which is how it always is with cabinets.
Single unidyne 57 on the right side of a creamback 65 on all clips. 87 Jackson custom shop. Some were boosted with a peppers dirty tree, others an 808

Thanks man! I was in your neck of the woods in Nashville at marks place, would’ve been cool to check out the wizard. I haven’t forgotten about that amp, if you have it for sale still in a few weeks I’m still interested.

That sounds so heavy and clear! Been thinking about grabbing some M65's myself. Played through some in a Friedman 2x12 and it sounded awesome!

Which cab model did you get? There's a few different 4x12's they offer right?
 
Sounds really good. My favorite one was the Morin modded Marshall.
 
Thanks guys , glad everyone enjoyed them. It’s a phenomenal cab. Going to post the same DI’s through my Mesa OS cab for anyone that cares, just for comparison :)
 
So for comparison for anyone who wants to get super nerdy, Mesa OS cab used this time, with similar mic position ( although obviously different speaker) and my number one unidyne 57. To me the standout here is the Herbert, the only one I was disappointed with was the driftwood, only because I had it set alittle too bright, it still rules with this cab regardless :)
