Just got a Marshall 1936V to go with my monomyth 2204. I haven't got to try it yet but I'm pretty stoked on the cosmetics alone.

G12 Vintage so basically the U.K. V30's

Is it recent plywood one or MDF ?
I have 2013 plywood one on its way. I'm really curious how it sounds against MDF ones.

This is plywood.

I had a 1936 in the 90's great cab. It was ply, with a MDF kind of back.

Friend has gotten a couple of those new ones made of ply, they're great cabinets. Much much better than the old 1936. Sounds great!

Yeah Im really happy with this cab. Its a bit larger than my KSR 2x12 and has a nice bass response. I havent broken in the speakers yet so Im excited to hear how they sound then. I can definitely tell a difference in the G12 Vintage over the V30's I had in my Orange cab.

The build material was a big issue with me. I tend to look at buying cabs like I look at buying furniture. Since its something I want to last a long time I didnt want to skimp. After verifying it was plywood it was an easy choice.

An added bonus was that this cab was purchased for me by my boss from my second job as sort of a signing bonus to work until the summer. I've been planning on quitting for awhile since I dont really need the second job anymore so this was a nice way of making it worth my time.

Congrats

I had an Avatar cab similar. Traditional 2x12
