I haven't been here in a while...here's some new pics of the rig.
The Peavey is not mine.

lol. Rig looks awesome. Poor Peavey does look a bit anemic in between those guys.

What speakers you running in the Marshall cab?

The Marshall cab has poop speakers G12-T75's
I eventually going to get some vintage 30's for it and then smash the T75's lol
I currently run the super lead into the mesa cab and it sounds great.

Hahaha. The V30/T75 mix is a nice combo. By themselves though, yeah, T75 are... not my fav. Best I can say.

Yup, switched jobs at least for now, so moved everybody across the country. Much cheaper over here, so at least now I have a dedicated room for all the amps, though I'm missing the coolest one  How've you been?

Ha. 75's and 65's are my favorite speakers! (for my rig anyway). Send them my way instead of smashing them! ;)

good man, been busy!
Time for some more Tool covers
You must miss the blue!

You should get some Greenbacks or G12-65s for the Marshall.

Or do what i do. Both of my cabs have an X pattern of the 75's and 65's. The 75's add the oomph and a bit of higher end. The 65's push the mids real nice. Together they make my cabs just sound ridiculously huge and "3D". True my setup anyway, which is an old '81 2203.

  Hey Jon, I can keep feeding your habit. I've got a 4x12 of G12-65 speakers I'm thinking of selling!

Why can't I stop buying and selling amps and speaker cabs?

Cool rig! Anything looks small next to the refrigerator sized VH4. Man those amps are huge.

What makes you think Adam uses V30s in his Marshall cab? ;)

Quoted directly from Mr. Jones:

AJ:Oh, the Marshall cabinets, they’re um, G12 Blackbacks.
You can get them in a 1960 Vintage cabinet... Those
cabinets are awesome. They sound so good.

That's from an interview in Australian Guitar. I've also spoken to one of his old techs who confirms. G12M-25 Blackbacks. Greenbacks are basically the same thing. Now, Jones and the tech could be lying. I don't know where you got your info from. Maybe it's more legit.

The "1960 Vintage"'cabinets came with V30s. Maybe he meant "Vintage 1960" cabinets, which could have various speakers, including the G12M blackbacks.

A picture of the cab's grill cloth should tell you which one he really meant. The V30-loaded 1960 Vintage cabs have black grill cloth. The blackback era speakers come in cabs with small check grill cloth, unless the cab is from the UK domestic market, in which case the grill is black... Speakers could have been changed, too... But it's easy if the cab has small check cloth.

EDIT: thumbed through that Dunlop rig rundown vid. Slant with a black grill cloth. Hard to say, but it looks like a model plate was (or at one time was) on the lower left corner of the grill. That would make it too modern to have the blackback G12M speakers. Could have chaned the speakers. Could have painted the small check cloth black. Could have a UK domestic market cab. But I think more likely, it's just a modern 1960 "Vintage" cab with the Marshall-logo V30s.

Trust me, I'm a ninja lol!

They are vintage 30s
I saw a video of the back of the cab and there is a green label tapped to the cab had black magic marker lettering that said vintage 30 and the ohms.
