It seems that every time Mark Cameron gets mentioned, it brings out the best in people. Some of the posts are hilarious, others try to manage some sort of business side of things. All of it is vague, until we can read the actual agreements and judge for ourselves. If you want to comment, post the agreements really. I would never do business this way on a forum, but we are past that point.
This stuff is even more funny when you realize that the whole MC amp thing is negligible on the music industry as a whole. That is my opinion, but I'm sure there are some dreamers around here that like to believe it is the end all be all tone etc.
Steve has an amp on the bench. Good for him. however, taking stabs at him is not fair. I do understand the feelings if you have been scammed by MC, but there are enough companies out there that do some pretty shitty stuff too. Just take a look in the clothing industry.

If Mark needs Adult Supervision to get shit straight, ok. Let it get straight. As to paying back business partners and customers screwed in the past...? What a sad mess.
I agree with others on just coming out with an amp and seeing wit goes. No name, just tone. If it is legendary or hype, it will be evident soon. A great player can demo a pretty good amp and people hear the amp as great.
Let the thing happen and old accounts get settled. So much surface noise in the story, it probably will never be sorted. So move forward....

Are the MIA amps on Mark? Yes. However, the more recent pre-order debacle - and people waiting over 2 years to be reimbursed - had absolutely nothing to do with Mark. Mark never had those funds and Mark didn't make the decision to redesign the CCV which ultimately created the delay.
This thread was started to discuss the new venture Jason and Mark are putting together - not to rehash the past for the millionth time. There are plenty of old threads to get that info - use the search function.

I think Brad and the boys would be better off without the Cameron name and stigma. I'm sure it caused them a tremendous amount of stress for the amount of time they were involved with this endeavor. Why not free yourselves of the crap?

I hope the guy redeems himself. I hope he makes right his wrongs. That'd be great. It's been tried and it hasn't panned out. Until that happens, what comes to him online about amps is going to happen and likely deserved. The guy could have worked a McDonalds night shift to pay back those he has wronged.....that is to say, if he was serious about righting them. The sooner he rights those wrongs, the sooner the negativity following his name will diminish. As long as he or anyone else is making a profit from amp work while the wrongs are still around, this will follow him.
I suggest everyone be comfortable with that fact.
