I have no idea why people are attacking Steve. Mark has been doing mods with Jason managing the process for over a year. Steve is just one of many who have bought one.
When I bought my Modern mod from Jason, I paid AFTER the amp had arrived.

Why would anyone in their right mind risk a penny on a guitar amp? 
There are many amps out there you can order and receive with no risk, or just go to a store and buy one.
Do amps help you write better songs?

I wish him well. I think I owned around six MC modded amps, and they were the best amps I ever owned. The first got modded and turned around in like 6 weeks, and the second was reasonable too. I got pissed when I sent one in to get repaired by him and it took over a year and 1/2 to get back. I ended up selling them but now I regret it. Of all the amps I've owned, and there have been a ton (Splawns, Friedmans, and Fortins included), MC's were the best and most inspirational amps I had. I wanted to play them, and when I did, they inspired me to reach out and play better. Hate that all the drama, bad business deals, and missing amps have ruined what could have been a good thing.

I write my best stuff sitting in my room with my little shitty practice rig. Maybe it's a location, for me.
Most of the time I write not plugged in at all. Even the heavy stuff.
I see guys with VERY expensive rigs that can't play or write a song to save their lives so.......
Interesting subject that probably deserves it's own thread.

What about the part where the 14 amps are YOUR responsibility? You always say that Mark quit, but so what, you guys still assumned the liability.
I'd have no gripe with you guys at all if you didn't LIE from day one. Remember all the posts that your wrote basically saying that while you had no real obligation, you'd do your best to make the 14 guys whole???? Turns out that wasn't true, and that's what bothers me.
