What about the part where the 14 amps are YOUR responsibility? You always say that Mark quit, but so what, you guys still assumned the liability.

I'd have no gripe with you guys at all if you didn't LIE from day one. Remember all the posts that your wrote basically saying that while you had no real obligation, you'd do your best to make the 14 guys whole???? Turns out that wasn't true, and that's what bothers me.

I see your point and understand. I guess the difference now is that Mark has a manager (Jason) who make sure things get done right this time. Of course people are going to be skeptical and it's up to them to prove the skeptics wrong. Jason has said all along that they are working on satisfying the debts of the past. Proof will be in the pudding.

again you don't know wtf your talking about. A had to happen for B to happen (i.e.: A = Mark forfeiting royalties to get blood from the Cameron stone for the guys he ripped off). He had to Do A for us to do B.

He didn't do A and ran away. We are not a fucking Church or a police force.

We wanted to help, we were not able to as the guy who robbed you, robbed us too and fucking fled.

So you want a pound of flesh go find that motherfucker and get it and quit bitching like a chick on the internet.

I wish him well. I think I owned around six MC modded amps, and they were the best amps I ever owned. The first got modded and turned around in like 6 weeks, and the second was reasonable too. I got pissed when I sent one in to get repaired by him and it took over a year and 1/2 to get back. I ended up selling them but now I regret it. Of all the amps I've owned, and there have been a ton (Splawns, Friedmans, and Fortins included), MC's were the best and most inspirational amps I had. I wanted to play them, and when I did, they inspired me to reach out and play better. Hate that all the drama, bad business deals, and missing amps have ruined what could have been a good thing.

at the end of the day i think as far as tone goes even the disgruntled partners will attest that mark's amp designs have magic or they wouldn't have bothered in the first place.

i remember the first time i met mark at the old tone merchants in OC he brought his science project bassman mod with dymo labels and just looked like a car wreck, and frankly for rock tone it defecated on every other $3-4k machine in the room at the time.

we hung out again at an after namm party a few years later and he brought more mods that killed.

zachman's production atomica proto he bought from brad kills--not sure how "genetically pure" a cameron specimen it is but that part of it is just gay.. only homos want to demean those camerons as not REALLY being a cameron and are just punching the clown vigorously, urinating for show, comparing stunted and deformed private parts, and fostering a bizarre fantasy world where things like just because you may hang out with mark cameron, dave friedman or reinhold bogner etc makes you a cooler more informed and hip human being. .....please.....they have all been nice guys to me and are talented amp builders, period.

but if mark tries playing the " my amps are better than those production cameron amps" card i would consider that a juvenile and moronic move.

and to brad's credit, what he described above regarding mark giving up royalties to pay back ampless people was how i remembered it as well. it was never brad/rob debt to be responsible for from the gate and they were just trying to formulate a payback plan with the revamped production model sales.

SO i'd imagine the only way those 14 orphans can be redeemed is if they are able to contact mark directly and mark can generate enough profit from his new venture to be able to pay back the $42k over time

I have always thought Mark was a amp genius and the tones he got out of his amps were some of the best i have ever heard. Credit where credit is due there, dude can get some stellar tone out of tubes and electronics and he can play a mean guitar.

Outside of the 14 Ccv amps owed, Did jimmy vombus, Ron wright , jay strange ever get their amps back ? I know there was at least a few others to. I saw the Amps with my own eyes at marks place in sun valley. If it weren't for josh I wouldn't have gotten my amp back, mind you even though it was in pieces.

And how bout me ? and the money I paid for my mod ? I Guess that money is gone forever. I understand people make mistakes and shit happens but this is wayyyyyyyy beyond that, to much wrong to make right. Ask Chris Schmidt about the 250k or more he invested .... Gone along w all the back doored amps he paid for and didn't see a dime of $ for ....yea that's right.

After all the phone calls I had w mark complaining that no one gets it.... Or understands, but in the end the truth is that all of this is the path he has chosen, and no one else.

So anyone who doesn't know should know, don't give them your money, don't get caught up and tie up your time, life's to short and it's just a stupid guitar amp.
