U can have great tone on a budget ...

With EMG's on the HBE i can get into Suhr PT-100 territory.

Not bad for a 35 yr old amp.

Friedman is the Premiere 60's & 70's Marshall expert IMO. The first time i heard James Lugo's 71' Friedman Super Trem i knew i had to have Daves talents.

Our ears have the same midrange bandwidth but his is far far more advanced than mine.

The Bitch & Atomica amps to me sound like a beefed up modded Metropolus ... smoother & more gain than standard.

The CCV sounds like a Frankenstein 5150 on roids.

None of these amps sound anything like Cameron modded Marshall JMP's from the last 2 decades IMO.

I would say the Chupa is kinda like his Jose mod....But much more like a Fortin mod...
