That actually does sound quite good. But jesus christ, can we get some vids of amps like this that aren't just the same old '80s cock rock shit over and over?

or maybe just some actual clips?? guys here have tens of thousands in gear then record their 80s favorites through their cell phone of the same era.

Yo man, Nokia never die!

I gotta get one of these guitars...
I think that's a misspell in the headstock. The other one I saw said moron.

Billy Blades is actually building those guitars. That's 100% true

this thing sounds good. Its the Rockinchippy 100. I read that it is voiced like the CCM.

I wonder if all of the people who got scammed are excited about this new amp?
This isn't a new amp, its a customized CCV. Customer sent in his old CCV for some mods and custom chassis plates.
It will never be made into a production amp. Its a 1 off mod job.

It only takes Mark $4K & 7 months to monogram cartoons on a faceplate.

Id say thats progress ... ;)

Not based on a CCV - it is an Old Bitch that has been modded.

Ahh, your right, I stand corrected.
I just wanted to clear the hype about this "RC100" being a "new model" that might become available for purchase. I view it as a similar situation to someone ordering say a custom Fortin for example and asking to have their own name and etching put on it for fun, wouldn't call that a new model per se.

I would NOT put Mark Cameron & Mike Fortin in the same category as builders for a variety of reasons.

The ONLY and most important difference is the obvious one. As Far as tone, quality of build, reliability? Please. Mike does GREAT work and is GREAT to deal with. I emailed him with an issue, he called me back the same day and talked my tech through a problem, he is awesome to deal with an his amps kill.

That said, the Cameron Modded Marshalls have ALL been the best sounding of the modded Marshalls I've had, hands down. Not one ever failed on me, and I'd love to have another.

Hey Chester, Which Cameron mod OR Fortin mod did you own/play?

Just curious.

Absolutely agree.

I was not comparing them as builders in that way at all. I was comparing the situation of having an amp custom modded by a builder to your specs (mods, logos, custom chassis plates ect) as opposed to an amp that's a "new model" which would be expected to be released to the general public at some point. Another reason I made the Fortin reference is because I don't know of many other builders that do custom face plates and mods to that degree. Not a comparison of quality or skill or anything like that at all.

Reading is hard. Anyone with comprehension skills understands you were drawing a parallel comparison with regard to "custom" amps, not the builders themselves.

Scameron will never be in the same league as Fortin; that's a given.

wow this thread is annoying. Alex got this amp done because he's truly passionate, got in touch with the rite people, and made it happen. Ther'es no mystery behind it, if your a good person and do the rite thing by people, you can make a lot of shit happen. stop hating cus your jealous

Amen.

Anybody that deals with Mark Cameron & the Cameron secret sauce deserves everything that goes with that.

Im NOT looking for one of his amps i have my own.

And as the years tick by and more & more of these threads pop up it just reinforces why i'll never deal with the dewd.

Karma is a Bitch.

There are many here who still haven't been compensated for there loss but yet the Cameron secret sauce continues.

They're amps, not the cure for cancer.

And when they come up for sale they are sold IN A FUCKING DAY. That's why these threads come up, and why they go on for pages usually. There are other great guys who can mod your amp, no doubt. The Cameron mods I've had have all been something a little special for whatever reason, tone I haven't heard from anyone else.

I truly wish Cameron could somehow figure out how to make things right and produce amps again. He is a genius. But troubled.
