I'm going to get a new hard tail san dimas with a rosewood board. Curious what rig talkers think of satin cobalt blue vs satin orange blaze vs trans blue burst? Only the burst has a maple veneer, would that make a difference in tone? It could end up in the classifieds, so maybe resale makes a difference. Hoping the 2 HB and tone control makes it a keeper.
 
Im interested in the trans blueburst, think its the nicest aesthetically...the only thing is I had the older hardtail for a month and it really played horribly so I wanna play one somewhere first, music zoo says they are getting them in and I live in the next town over...

veneer will have zero effect on tone.
For a rosewood board I would go satin orange. In general I personally only like maple boards with woodgrain finishes
