Nice! Matt, am I way off on this or is that a Fredrik Thordendal sig amp???

Either way it sounds pretty mean and tight for the modern brutal stuff. Sounds a bit like the NATAS...

the recording was pretty bad - IE a bad camera, but it is still in the design phase so it is not being publicly released quite yet.

not sure who it will be a signature model for, but i do know that Ola is signed by DAR amplifiers.

as long as the price isnt $8,000 like a larry's amplifier im all over this FBM model, that sounds killer to me

yeah this is part of the big package of FBM gear coming out.. Fredrik's sig gear I guess.

Yes, it's a Fredrik Thorendal signature amplifier. In fact, there's a whole series of new products being released under the "Future Breed Machines" tagline. The one shown in the video is the FBM-100H, which is the little brother to anoter amplifier called the FBM-100HX, I believe. I recently preordered te preamp that's coming out, which is the preamp section from the amp in the video, but with high resolution impulse hardware with specially designed IRs for DI use. There's also going to be a IR/dummy load device sometime too.

I'm so excited about these new amps. They sous aggressive and futuristic. DAR may have really created something special and perfect for Meshuggah, and the direction metal has taken since their influence has been coming in full swing. I'm going to see how this preamp does for me, but I'm highly interested in the full amplifiers too.

god fucking damnit

That amp is something special, that's the truth. It has a sort of Natas approach, but I think that the Natas is a little bit "rougher", like if you compare an American Muscle car to a European Ferrari, Lambourgini. Kinda ;)
