New Dumble amps?

These are being built, apparently, by whoever inherited the Dumble rights.

I think the combo sounds good; the ODS into a 2x12 doesn't sound as smooth as I expected. In the video Tim says you can order them directly but provides no info on where or how.


Joe B. said he has three of the 1x12 combos (Tweedle Dee) and a few new Dumbulators, but not the new ODS. He said the combo costs around the same as vintage tweed but no details.


The vid description provides an email to contact the Dumble Preservation Society about ordering an amp.

The new Tweedle Dee is about $6700. Back ordered a bit I according to a dealer who had one at the Monterey Music store.

They will say it sounds better with a boost.. LOL

Putting a shit box distortion in front of an Amp that was designed to be played straight in is like showing up to a fine Steak House with a bottle of Ketchup you got from the Dollar Store.. LOL

Yeah, most of the REALLY great sounding amps don't mesh well with 99% of boost pedals. Old Fenders, Marshalls...my 68 SL hates everything I've tried. Au Natural is fantastic anyway so why bother? My JMP 2203 loves all boost pedals.

yes, I think they're in Canada? But Fuchs, Two Rock, Ceriatone,... all make D clones. These new D are made with the Dumble estate's blessing, and can use the Dumble name. They also have access to Alexander's notes, workshop, etc. vs reverse engineering existing Dumbles made by him.

Definitely not paying 6+K to let it grow on me..

I'd consider one if it was more reasonably priced...I considered buying a Ceriatone clone a few years back, but don't really need or want one that much
