New EVH 5150 III 50 Watt red channel out

Has anyone had this issue? I was playing on the red channel and all of the volume completely went out, it's still there but even when cranked it's at a whisper volume. Blue and Green channels are working normally, tried switching preamp tubes around and the green and blue channels were not affected but the red went into a loud feedback.

I've only had it two weeks so I can still return it, just seeing if there's an obvious fix that I don't know about.

Awesome! Thank you for that. I contacted Fender customer relations and they pretty much told me to just return it and they don't know what's wrong with it.

Check your v3 or v4 preamp tube, can't remember but I had go bad right out of the box, easy fix.

It's a preamp tube issue. I've had it happen on my 100 watt head. Change the preamp tubes that effect the red channel and it will clear up.
