New Explorer Day

I've been wanting a classic Gibson E2 CMT. Good friend of mine has one and I always thought they were awesome guitars. Had trouble finding a clean one. Found one and here she is. Great guitars. Curly maple top, ebony board, 3pc flame maple neck, dirty fingers pickups, heavy and sounds great. Ripped it through the new SLO on Saturday and it killed.

Thanks guys. I was actually surprised. The pickups sound very thick and crunchy. The biggest thing was the neck is actually way bigger than my 50s necks, more fat 59. She's heavy in a good way

I looked hard at that one but it took the guy a week to get me better pics of the guitar. When I got them I understood why the pictures are from a distance in the ad. It's pretty beat up.
