I dig...can't wait for the Extreme Kings X tour it's gonna smoke!

That was actually very good .

sounds rocking .I wonder if that is his HK triamp ..pretty punchy

That was probably his JCM800/ RAT Pedal or his new Randall sig amp. If I had to guess though I'd say Marshall & RAT.

Randall Sig?

news to me , is that like the modular hammet amp .

Really nice...I see they continue to wear the Queen influence right on their sleeves.....no bad thing at all!

Nice tone and solo from Nuno. I am happy to see they are back.

How awesome is this guy? I`m totally rockin` out to this tune. Love this band...

Indeed, I have tix to the August 6th HOB show in Cleveland. I like Extreme alot...I've nearly worn out my Pornograffitti CD. I hope they play some older stuff (Extreme). My experience with some of these "reunited" bands is that they tend to only play newer stuff, trying to prove that they're still relevant, only pulling out old favorites when absolutely necessary. Though not necessarily reunited, this is what The Cult did last time around, it was horrific and a waste of a rather hefty ticket price. I recall that before they played (I think) their only "classic" tune Ian Astbury said "we're playing this because we have to." WEAK. What a snoozefest that was. Hell, Winger was a better show by a long shot.

I sincerely DO HOPE King's X has their own tour, however. For some reason, I feel bad when the open for another band. Last year (or maybe the year before) I saw them open for Skid Row (or, rather Scotti Hill, Rachel Bolan and three other guys) and though the crowd was 85% Skid Row's, KX completely stole the show. Yikes...then there was the time they opened for Motley Crue...

I like it. I remember that Waiting For The Punchline took me off guard but ended up loving it. Looking forward to the full album!

It's not hitting me right yet...hopefully it'll grow on me. i just don't hear anything memorable about it.

Wow. I did not like that at all. The chorus is a trainwreck. Best part is the breakdown before the solo. The solo itself was a total letdown for me as well. Nuno's always been heavily influenced by Van Halen but the end of the solo was a bit too much IMO. I really hope the rest of the album is not like this...

It's growing on me (3rd listen). The vocals are so prominent - it's either love'em or hate'em. 1st listen - hated'em :D , but warming up a bit. This one gonna take a little time for me to make an opinion. Nonetheless glad to hear the band is back together!

I dig the verse and the solo was a little out there. THe chorus was killing it for me. Whats up with Cherone's choice in lyrics?

Wow! I loved seeing and hearing the old Mutha video!!

Thanks for the link!

Surely, Snake Sabo is still with them right? I'm pretty sure he writes most stuff. It should be the same guys with a different singer and drummer???

At this show, or perhaps several on that particular tour, a guitarist who plays with Alice Cooper filled in for him for some reason or another. It was funny, as this guy was dressed up in an Alice Cooper-style outfit while the rest of them were not.

EDIT: the guy's name is Keri Kelly.
