Got A Fish today, no owners manual, and it's new. At least with my 101b there where some jumping off points. Any upfront stuff I need to know would be great, and how does the 2 footswitches work? Maybe a picture of some fav settings?

The presence control works in the opposite direction.

Clockwise = darker

You're just messing with him right?

no. :confused:

1. it's on the back of the unit, so it's hard to get to.

2. I had it turned all the way left, and I was like WTF?!?! this is bright as hell.

3. I contacted Bogner, they cleared it up. It gets darker as one turns it to the right/up/clockwise.

lots of HRI guys confirmed this is correct with theirs too.

That is completely counter-intuitive!

Thanks for the advise :thumbsup: ... had a wonderful time with it, too embarrassed to say what I ran it thru ... but even so ... it killed. Can't wait to get it to my other practice room and run it thru the return on my 101b. Got such a great deal on it, it was an unscheduled purchase. Not sure what I'm going to get as far as a dedicated power amp yet. the VHT 2150 is kind of the obvious choice, but availability and price might be an issue right now with the little lady, would hate to get it and then have to give her half of it .. :lol: :LOL: ..I've got an old Ampeg V4 cabinet that I've had since around '76 that thing is built like a tank ... think I will probably load it with 2 vintage 30's and 2 G12H30's ... really like that combo in my Bogner Cab.... any ideas about a power amp ... anybody tried a Boogie 20/20?

i have a couple of 2150s for sale. a purple and a black one. or u can just wait til the Bogner power amps come out. but, that may be a while

Wonder how one would sound through a Mesa 50/50 or a 2:90? Get mighty close to picking up a Fish from time to time, but damn sure don't want another power amp. Somebody just needs to make one of those deals that can't be refused.

Actually, I heard over on the Boogie Board that Jerry Cantrell uses his fish through a 2:90. I thought he used them through the 2150, but apparently this last album was a change.

I actually saw that in an article last night.....I have a 2:90 and a 50/50 just in case I catch a Fish.

That's William Duvall's reissue Fish, notice no mods on it. Cantrell used a 2:90 and before that a MosValve 500 in his live setup. I have yet to see a 2150 in his rack.
